Is the four-month option a different plan?
No. Monthly and four-month billing unlock the same Nova Plus workspace and the same allowances. Monthly costs £8 and renews each month. Four months costs £30 and renews every four months, which is £2 less than four monthly payments.
When do I have to pay?
Not during the trial. A verified new account gets 14 days of Nova Plus with no card. If you continue, you choose monthly or four-month billing in Stripe checkout from inside your account.
What happens when the trial ends or I cancel?
New AI preparation pauses. Your Sources, Outlines, Notes, study material, Evidence and academic history stay readable. You can cancel paid renewal at any time. The Terms explain access and cancellation in full.
Your material
What can I upload?
Material you made, have permission or a licence to use, or may lawfully use for private study. Not pirated textbooks, live assessments, confidential material or anything you are not allowed to share. The Terms explain authorised Sources.
Who can see my slides, notes and answers?
Your workspace is private by default and you keep ownership of everything you add. Nova and its providers only process the study context needed to run the features you use. Support cannot read your study content unless you grant specific, time-limited access. The Privacy Policy has the detail.
How Nova works
How is this different from ChatGPT?
Nova is a persistent workspace for your modules. Your lectures, slides, notes and submitted attempts stay connected, so an explanation is grounded in what you were actually taught rather than an isolated prompt.
Is it a flashcard app?
Flashcards are one part. Nova also connects your slides, notes, study attempts, assessments and Evidence around the same concepts, so each part stays useful beyond one revision session.
What counts as Evidence?
Only work you submit. Reading a slide, revealing an answer or seeing an explanation never counts. Untested stays untested, not failed.
Does Nova set me tasks or streaks?
Nova does not assign mandatory tasks or use streaks. Home offers up to four optional study suggestions, explains the Evidence behind them, and leaves the choice to you.
Will it work with my course?
Nova currently supports adults studying lecture-based STEM courses at UK universities. It follows the Modules, Lectures, Sources and Assessments your course already has rather than imposing a generic curriculum.
